Library Hunters Writing Competition

on Tuesday, 07 July 2015. Posted in Ash Class

On the 7th of July, Angela McAllister came into Ash Class to tell us about a competition she has organised. This competitions is call LIBRARY HUNTERS. The competition is to write a story about anything you like, but libraries are good starting places as books are full of ideas!

Article by Sienna, Izzy and Emily

The deadline of the story is on 15th July. Angela McAllister is going to judge our stories and, if we win, we get a signed copy of her newest book: London Times.

Angela McAllister read her book, The Wind Garden to us. She got her inspiration for the book from a photo in a newspaper a long time ago.

Congratulations to the winners of the Library Hunters Competition: Matthew Tranter, Eddie Humber and James Cook. Angela enjoyed reading all the stories and said it was very hard to choose but these three writers all managed something very special.
