This year we have been working with Lloyds Bank to raise money for Children in Need
On Tuesday, 3rd November two members of staff from Lloyds Bank came to our School Council meeting to discuss fundraising ideas for Children in Need. They were so impressed that they invited us to their next Wednesday morning branch meeting. We were very interested in the discussions at the meeting and shared our fund raising suggestions. Then we joined the branch manager to welcome customers when the doors were opened. Next we went for a 'behind the scenes' tour of the branch. Back as school we finalised our plans for fundraising activities. We began with a Super Heroes dress up day on Friday 13th November. Then, throughout the following week, there were lots of other activities: Pudsey gingerbread baking and decorating, guessing the name of Pudsey's friend, finding the hidden Pudsey and then, on the Friday, an orienteering challenge. Four of our School Council also returned to Lloyds Bank to help with their Bric-a-Brac Sale. Congratulations to Eloise Vince on correctly guessing the name of Pudsey's friend - Norris, to William Barrett-Mead on guessing where Pudsey was hiding and also to the GreenTeam on completing the orienteering challenge in the quickest time. Well done to our School Council on an amazing fund raising week!
